Regency Mahogany Chiffonier c.1820

Elegant early 19th.c. mahogany chiffonier side cabinet c.1820. Plumb pudding mahogany veneered top with a crossbanded edge over two slim drawers and a two door cupboard fitted inside with two adjustable shelves (internal depth 14″). Simple uncluttered design free of almost any applied decoration. Beautifully figured flame mahogany veneers to the drawer and door fronts with ebony stringing, neat little turned knobs and a brass trim where the doors meet. Raised on the original turned bun feet front and rear. Solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. Excellent condition with patched repairs to the top. Lovely mellow colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
