Small 17th.c. Style Oak Dresser Base by Rackstraw

Small 17th.c. style oak dresser base or sideboard attributed to the celebrated makers G.T Rackstraw on Worcester c.1960. Solid oak top with unusual chip carved ends. Over two drawers flanked on each side with a cupboard (internal depth 17½") fitted inside with a half depth shelf. With an attractive Gothic carved detail to the door panels, decorative iron strap hinges and heart shaped handles - all typical features of Rackstraw furniture. Solid oak frame with moulded detail, shaped apron and chamfered front stiles. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
