Small Painted Pine Chest of Drawers c.1890

Pretty little late 19th.c. painted pine chest of drawers c.1890. Useful small size, just 37" wide. Two short drawers and three long drawers of graduated height. Original faux wood grain 'scumbled' paintwork, the drawer fronts painted to resemble birch with satinwood crossbanding and ebony stringing. With very attractive polychrome floral painted decoration to the drawer fronts and a fan detail at the corner of the top. Original brass handles with floral detail to the pierced backplates. Some wear to the top and around the plinth. Generally very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
