Oak Welsh Dresser Base c.1830

Early 19th.c. oak Welsh dresser base, North Wales (probably Anglesey) c.1830. Three plank op with a plate groove along the back edge and applied mahogany edge moulding. Over six working drawers and two cupboards (internal depth 17"). Good decorative detail to the front with rosewood inlaid borders to the drawers, mahogany mouldings around the door panels, mahogany cockbeading and inlaid bone escutcheons. Retaining the original brass knobs. Applied moulding around the base and shaped bracket feet at the front and sides. Pine sides and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
