Oak Welsh Dresser Base c.1820
Early 19th.c. oak Welsh dresser base Caernarfonshire c.1820. Solid oak top with a plate groove at the back and an applied moulding to the edges at the front and sides. Over six working drawers and two cupboards (internal depth 17"). Attractive shaped detail to the door panels, cockbeaded edges to the drawers and doors, inlaid ebony escutcheons and the original brass knobs. Moulded base trim at and shaped bracket feet to the front. Oak panelled sides, deal back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for both doors.
