Chinoiserie Wardrobe c.1930

Very unusual Chinoiserie decorated wardrobe c.1930. Two door wardrobe of tapering form, fitted inside with two front to back hanging rails (internal depth 13"). Highly decorative exterior featuring a shaped cornice with a central finial and pagoda sides, over tapering doors with oriental scenes in raised lacquerwork against the green ground and surrounded with raised mouldings. Further decoration on the sides. Elaborately shaped, carved and pierced apron to the front and sides, raised on shaped legs with scrolling feet. Some minor wear to the paintwork, generally excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops, key supplied.
