Small Marquetry Inlaid Secretaire Abattant c.1920

Very smart little French Louis XV style secretaire abattant or bureau c.1920. Just 26½" wide. Rouge griotte marble top with serpentine shaped and moulded edges. Over a bombe shaped chest featuring a fall front bureau with a fitted interior of shelves and two small drawers plus three larger oak lined drawers below. Superb rosewood and kingwood veneered exterior with extensive marquetry inlaid floral decoration to the front and sides. Brass escutcheons and brass mounts to the shoulders apron and feet. Damage to the baize on the writing surface around the lock. Otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
