Marquetry Inlaid and Gilded Side Table c.1950

Fine quality marquetry inlaid side table c.1950. Hexagonal top with projecting corners, veneered in satinwood with superb inlaid marquetry decoration in contrasting timbers laid onto solid walnut groundwork. Carved and gilded edge moulding and gilded detail to the apron. Tapering legs with gilded acanthus capitals and harebell detail. Joined with pierced and moulded stretchers and raised on twist carved feet with gilded papyrus detail. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
