Small Carved Oak Hall Seat c.1880

Unusual little late 19th.c. oak hall bench or window seat c.1880. Narrow two plank seat with carved edge and a low back, shaped and carved with stylised flower heads and small roundels, repeated as an apron across the front. With lovely bobbin turned arms on short turned supports. Matching front legs with further carved detail to the tops. Excellent condition with original ebonised finish. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
