Pair of Mahogany Side Tables c.1800

Fine pair of George III mahogany side tables c.1800. Beautiful solid mahogany table tops with particularly good grain, rounded front corners and moulded edges. Over a mahogany veneered apron with a crisp applied moulding along the bottom edge. On elegant tapering legs front and rear with turned detail and raised on brass cup castors. The tables can be used together to make a square supper table or with the addition of the original extra leaf (which rests on the drawer at the rear of one of the tables) an eight seater dining table (total length 69"). Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Table clips supplied.
