Small Georgian Mahogany Kneehole Desk c.1750
A delightful little George II mahogany kneehole desk c.1750. Just 34″ wide. Beautiful bookleaf mahogany veneered top with crossbanded border and moulded edge. Over one long drawer and six small drawers arranged around a small central cupboard in the kneehole with a single shelf inside (internal depth 9"). Cockbeaded drawer fronts with original brass handles with attractive pierced backplates. Moulded plinth raised on tall bracket feet front and rear. Oak groundwork to the drawer fronts and sides of the cabinet. Oak drawer linings and back boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
