Louis XV Style Brass Mounted Marble Top Side Table c.1930

Very smart Louis XV style kidney shaped marble top side table c.1930. Highly figured marble top with a brass edge and raised gallery with heart shaped pierced detail over a single drawer. Herringbone tulipwood parquetry inlaid drawer front, continued on the apron at the sides and rear, with inlaid stringing and mahogany surround. Slim shaped cabriole legs with large brass mounts to the knees front and rear. Joined with a useful stretcher shelf, veneered and inlaid to match and with further brass mounts to the feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
