Campaign Style Pedestal Desk by Reprodux c.1960
Very smart mahogany campaign style pedestal desk by the English cabinet maker's Reprodux Bevan Funnell c.1960. Well figured mahogany veneers with polished brass bindings and flush fitting handles in the manner of Victorian military campaign furniture. 45" x 21" top with original green leather work surface with gold decoration and set within a brass trim, over three drawers. Raised on drawer pedestals either side of a good sized kneehole (19" x 25"). The lower drawer to the right hand pedestal being double height for files etc. Folding brass carry handles to the sides. Veneered and polished to match on the rear. Mahogany drawer linings. Stamped for the English cabinet makers Reprodux on the underside of one of the drawers. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
