Victorian Lion’s Head Desk.

New for today, this splendid late 19th.c. oak pedestal desk c.1880. Exuberantly carved with lion’s heads and green man masks which form the handles on the drawer fronts. A good sized desk, just waiting for a new leather. Lion’s head furniture seems to have enjoyed a brief vogue in the late 19th.c, we ofter find the same motifs on a variety of furniture from the period.
Dimensions: width 48″, depth 30″, height 32″.
