Small 18th.c. Welsh Oak Settle.

Charming little 18th.c. Welsh oak seat c.1780. Just 25″ wide, with a backrest featuring twin panels, fielded on the front with very unusual linen fold detail to the rear and surrounded by moulded rails. Original single piece seat board and shaped arms on turned front staves which continue to floor level. The rear legs and stretcher are later replacements. Otherwise excellent colour and condition.
Dimensions: width 25″, depth 17″, height 34″.
