Good sized late 18th.c. oak mule chest c.1790. Lots of storge space below the lift up lid plus two useful drawers in the base. Solid oak construction throughout with attractive shaped and fielded panels to the front, square panelled sides and back. Flat (rather than panelled) top with original mouldings. Shaped bracket feet front and rear. Unusually this chest retains its original, and particularly attractive, piereced brass handles and escutcheon plates. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
