Georgian Oak & Mahogany Crossbanded Dresser Base.

Handsome George III oak open dresser base from the Wales / Cheshire borders c.1810. Solid oak top with a mahogany edge moulding over three large drawers with mahogany crossbanding and large turned knobs. The crossbanding continues at the lower edge of the apron front and sides, an unusual detail. Raised on square stiles, the front ones slightly tapered. Solid oak sides, deal drawer linings and backboards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
