Exquisite little late Georgian mahogany apothecary’s travelling cabinet c.1810. Mahogany box with original brass carry handles. Opening at the top, front and rear to reveal a lovely fitted interior of spaces for bottles of ingredients and small drawers, several of which are themselves fitted with dividers, lids and cut-outs for their specific contents. Retaining several original glass bottles, (some with contents), a brass balance scale with weights, pans, dosing cups and a little glass pestle. Good condition with general wear and some earlier repairs and restorations. Obvious damage to some of the glass items.
