Elias Ingraham Wall Clock.

IMG_8563

Delightful little late 19th.c. wall clock c.1885 by the celebrated E.Ingraham Company of Bristol Connecticut. Original spring driven 8 day works with hour strike in Elias Ingraham’s famous ‘figure 8’ case (for which he obtained the patent in 1857). A particularly attractive example here retaining the ‘scumbled’ paintwork and original gilding to the bezels and roundels. Original gilded brass pendulum bob with leaf detail, paper maker’s label, face and hands. In very good working condition. Winding key supplied.
Dimensions: width 11″, depth 4″, height 19″.
