Early 19th.c. Mahogany Chest of Drawers.


Good sized and elegant early 19th.c. mahogany chest of drawers c.1810. Simple uncluttered design and classic proportions with two short drawers over three long drawers of graduated depth. Unusually the top right hand drawer has a fitted interior with two little drawers inside. Well figured single piece top over symmetrical flame mahogany veneered panel with inlaid ebony stringing. Shaped apron and feet, with further inlaid detail to the sides. Turned mahogany knobs and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
