Pair Large Knole Sofas.


Great looking pair of modern three seater knole sofas by the quality bespoke British furniture manufacturers Peter Guild. Generous three seater sofas, 7’4” long with drop sides held with gold braided rope around heavy brass finials. Supremely comfortable with loose cushions to the seat, rear and arms. Both sofas are in excellent condition with spotlessly clean upholstery. Conforms to modern fine regulations.

Bentwood Hat Stand.


Fine example of the classic Edwardian bentwood hat and coat stand c.1910. Rotating eight branch crown of double hooks with a turned finial on a shaped column and a good wide four leg base with a hoop for sticks and umbrellas. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Adjustable Victorian Side Table.


Super quality little late 19th.c. table c.1880. Of unusual design having a circular solid mahogany top with raised lip and moulded edge on a height adjustable brass stand with decorative brass column and heavy cast iron base. Raises from 28” to 40”, the cast iron base means it remains stable even when fully extended. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Ebonised Cabinet with Sévres Panels & Gilt Mounts.


Purchased locally and looking fabulous on the shop floor this afternoon we have this stunning 19th.c. side cabinet c.1860. Exceptional quailty, in ebonised mahogany with beautifully figured amboynawood panels and satinwood stringing. Further embelished with gilded ormolu mounts and moulding, a piereced brass gallery and porcelain panels in the manner of the great French porcelain manufacturers Sevres. The two large porcelain panels on the central cupboard doors feature hand painted poratits of Marie Antoinette and Madame Elisabeth, the last born sibling of Louis XVI. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.

Mahogany Chiffonier.


Useful little mid 19th.c. mahogany chiffonier side cabinet c.1850. With a single drawer over a two door cupboard base with shelf. Particularly well figured top, shaped drawer front, faux columns and arch shaped flame mahogany door panels. Exellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.

Edwardian Oak Roll Top Desk.


Fine large example of the classic Edwardian roll top desk c.1905. In solid oak, panelled and polished on all sides, the tambour top slides open to reveal a good sized work space and a fitted interior featuring 11 docket drawers with original blass label holder handles, plus pigeon holes, stationery drawers and pen trays. On graduated drawer pedestals, with writing slides to each and a single drawer to the kneehole. The bottom right hand drawer is double height for files (and bottles!).  All the drawers are locked automatically when the top is closed. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our work shops. Original lock and key supplied.

Tour of Britain.


A bit of extra excitement here this afternoon as the tour of Britain swept past the warehouse (the big pink building in the background) on its way from Conwy to a thrilling finish on the prom in Llandudno.

Late 19th.c. Music Cabinet.


Lovely little late 19th.c.walnut side cabinet c.1880. Originally designed to hold sheet music, would make a very useful little bookcase or display cabinet.  Well figured burr walnut veneers with inlaid, crossbanded and marquetry detail. Unusually this cabinet retains its original tooled brass gallery to the top. With two adjustable shelves behind the single glazed door. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.

Willliam IV Rosewood Side Cabinet.


Smart little early 19th.c. rosewood side cabinet c.1835. Of distinctive design with turned faux columns on each side with original brass mounts. Superior quality, with solid rosewood sides and bevelled glass. Adjustable shelves and turned bun feet. Very good unrestored condition, it has been simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
