Small Oak Dresser.

Cute little 18th.c. style oak Welsh dresser c.1930. Just 48″ wide and 72″ tall with a short rack over a two door cupboard base with two drawers. Leaf pattern carved corbels either side of the drawers and moulded detail to the door and drawer fronts. Attractive heart shaped cast iron handles. Excellent quality, solid oak throughout.

Camphorwood Campaign Chest


Good looking late 19th.c. brass bound oriental campaign chest c.1880. In fragrant and pest resistant camphorwood, designed to protect contents during passage. Good large size, attractive colour and excellent condition with original brass corners, bindings, lock and latches and iron handles. Please note the lock no longer works. Cleaned and wax polished in our workshops.

Adjustable Brass Standard Lamp.

Splendid late 19th.c. brass lamp standard c.1880. Superb quality, crisply cast in solid brass in a with fluted column and extravanatly shaped heavy tripod base. Height adjustable from 48″-74″ on a sliding tube also in brass. Some minor knocks to the base, otherwise excellent condition,  cleaned and rewired and sold with PAT test certificate.

Huge Stone Bird Bath.


We always like to have some unusual items in stock here at the warehouse and surely this has to be unique. A very large (and heavy) stone bird bath with a diameter of 42”. Cut from a single piece of stone, nicely greened with age. The square block to one side would be a great base for a piece of statuary. Huge Stone Bird Bath.

Irish Bookcase Display.


Fabulous mid 19th.c Mahogany Irish Bookcase Display. c.1850 by Thomas Tweedie of Newry, Ireland. Elegant breakfront design, unusually narrow, with a shaped cornice over three full length glazed doors. Excellent quality with solid mahogany in the doors and frame and mahogany side panels. With four shelves to each section, height adjustable on wooden pegs. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied. Maker’s label to the rear.

Early 19th.c. Mahogany Extending Dining Table.


Graceful Early 19th.c. Mahogany Extending Dining Table. c.1820. Solid mahogany top on four beautifully turned and fluted legs with original brass cup castors. Of a design which we have never come across before. Unusually all four table top leaves are removable with the end two held in place with hook and eye fittings. The table extends on telescopic sides from 53” to 82” with the addition of either one or two 16” wide leaves. These addition leaves are held with brass clips which stow in specially cut holes on frame when not in use. Presented in original and unrestored condition. Perfectly solid and stable and of especially good colour.

Victorian Oak Billard Room Couch.


Very handsome mid 19th.c, single arm, buttoned back sofa c.1880. Of superb quality, 7 feet long with a solid oak frame. The unusual design suggests it may originally have been intended for a billard room or similar. With turned arm support and legs with carved and ebonised detail very much in the manner of Lamb of Manchester. Raised on period white porcelain castors. Superb condition with very clean upholstery in a pink damask.

Large Cast Iron Garden Urn.

Spectacular 19th.c. classical garden urn on stand c.1880. Superb example of the form, in heavy cast iron, standing 50” tall. Fluted urn on a square pedestal base. Excellent condition, with particularly attractive weathered paint finish. Sold together with a slate plinth to stop it sinking into the lawn.

Burr Walnut Pier Cabinet.


Attractive mid 19th.c. burr walnut veneered pier cabinet, or bookcase display, c.1860. Two shelves behind a glazed door with original glass, lock and ormolu escutcheon. With rounded corners and low bun feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and fresly polished in our workshops to show of the superb grain of the timber. The inside rear has been left bare but could be stained, painted or lined as required. Key supplied.

Pollard Oak Wardrobe.


Beautiful late 19th.c. pollard oak wardrobe press c.1880. With full length hanging either side of a two door central cupboard, a useful mirror back recess (for smal items) and a two over three chest of drawers. Fabulous quality with exceptional figured veneers, carved detail and ash drawer linings. Excellent condition, reatining the original mirror plates, brass handles and locks. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
