Pair of Garden Benches.

Pair of teak garden benches, with straight back rests and arms over shaped slatted seats. Nicely silvered with age and spotted with lichen. Earlier stain or paint visible on one bench, the other has an earlier strengthening bracket to the underside. One has a broken label with remnants reading ‘Burma teak’, the other has a badge reading ‘Lister seat home assembly kit – genuine Burma teak’ by the Hawker Siddeley Company. Both in good condition, solid and sturdy ready for use.

Mahogany Dumb Waiter.

Fine quality mahogany three tier dumb waiter c.1810. Solid mahogany circular shelves with floral carvings, with raised and moulded edges. Crisp turned central column with twisted fluting detail on a tripod base with shaped feet, all carved to match the shelves. Excellent condition and original colour, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Arts & Crafts Mirror.

Great 19th.c. Arts & Crafts oak wall mirror, in the style of Liberty and Co. Upper shelf with a pair of mirrors either side of a useful central cupboard with glazed door, all above a larger mirror plate with interesting bevelled detail to the edge. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Walnut Standard Lamp.

Elegant early 20th.c. walnut standard lamp c.1930. Crisply turned top on a tapering column with fluted detail. On a turned and moulded plinth with slim pad feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.

Kidney Shaped Elm Dressing Table.

Stunning little French burr elm dressing table c.1910. Original bevelled oval mirror plate within a moulded frame, angle adjustable on exceptional large gilded ormolu brackets. Over a kidney shaped table top with a single drawer below and raised on slim turned and tapering legs. Beautiful burr elm veneers across the piece with inlaid stringing to the table surface and drawer front. Original ormolu handles and mounts to the mirror, apron and feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Pale Bentwood Hat Stand.

Early 20th.c. bentwood hat stand c.1930. Unusual pale finish and little smaller than many we see, with a 22″ diameter crown of six double hooks for hats and coats. On a slim turned column with a turned finial and raised on a four leg base with hoop support for sticks and umbrellas. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Bow Front Corner Display Cabinet.

Excellent quality glazed double height mahogany corner display cabinet c.1950. Dental cornice with flame mahogany veneered frieze over a full length bow front door with 52 individually glazed panels. Oak interior with panelled back and shaped shelves. Fluted uprights and raised on shaped bracket feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.

Small William IV Writing Table.

Charming little William IV mahogany writing desk or side table c. 1835. Just 23″ wide with a beautifully figured flame mahogany top with rounded corners and a crossbanded edge. Over a single drawer with original turned knobs. Baluster shaped silhouette legs and sleigh feet raised on turned and carved buns. Joined with a turned stretcher set high to leave room for the feet when being used as a desk.

Large Regency Leather Scroll End Settee.

Very mpressive Regency era mahogany and leather scroll end settee c.1810. Superb example of the form with a well carved mahogany frame and beautiful vintage ox blood red leather upholstery. Shaped top rail carved with an anthemion motif at the centre. Over button upholstered backrest, arms and loose seat cushion. Elegantly scrolling arms with shaped and carved fronts. Moulded and carved apron below the seat and very impressive legs carved from solid mahogany blocks with oversized brass castors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Some minor repairs to the leather at the rear of the settee.

Tall Oak Arts & Crafts Bookcase.

Tall and narrow Arts & Crafts oak bookcase c.1900. Constructed as a single piece standing 90″ tall with a open bookcase top fitted with four adjustable shelves over a deeper two door cupboard in the base. Of superior quality, in solid oak throughout. Moulded cornice with Gothic crenelated top, shaped sides with a double column detail to the front edge and decorative strap hinges on the cupboard doors. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
