Mahogany Shop Display.

Fine quality mahogany shop display cabinet by the English bespoke makers Archer & Smith of Swindon. Uncluttered breakfront design with solid mahogany frame, five full length bevelled glass panels, and a silk lined interior. Adjustable glass shelves and fitted display light to the interior. Excellent conditon, key supplied.

William IV Mahogany Dining Chairs.

Fine set of four early 19th.c. mahogany dining chairs c.1830. Graceful design with shaped top rail and unusual back stretcher with swag detail carving, raised on sabre legs. Lift out seat pads freshly upholstered in a neutral cream fabric. Excellent condition.

Victorian Papier Mache Wine Table.

Highly decorative mid 19th.c. black lacquered papier mache table, with hand-painted floral decoration, mother of pearl inlays and a heavily moulded edge. On an associated gilded carved and gesso tripod base. Good solid condition, some minor wear typical of age. Cleaned and waxed.

19th.c. Carpenter’s Chest.

Good looking mid 19th.c. painted pine carpenters chest c.1860. Impressive and original shaped iron hinge lock and carry handles. Raised on a set of period wooden castors. Would make a great coffee table. Interior features four small drawers with painted wood grain to the fronts, and vintage paper lining. Great condition with attractive and original paint finish, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

18th.c. Chinese Jardiniere.

Large 18th.c. Chinese Qianlong period famile-rose jardiniere c.1760. Impressive size and unusual form having a shaped lip and ridged  sides. Decorated with a garden scene with a peacock and pheasant amongst flowers. With a couple of shallow chips from the lip.

Garden Cloche.

Keep the slugs at bay with this cute little 20th.c. scratch built wood and glass garden cloche. Ideal for starting of seedlings. With a hinged fall front for access, the  top lifts to allow ventilation.

Painted Pine Dresser c.1860.

My new favourite thing. A delightful mid 19th.c. pine kitchen dresser c.1860. Three drawers over two cupboards plus two deep drawers to the centre. Attractive design with a break front, raised drawer fronts, shaped door panels, quarter columns to the sides and superior bracket feet. In lovely condition, unusually it retains the original painted and ‘scumbled’ finish. Original knobs and feet. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Meet Hank.

Large satirical fibreglass figure of an Easter Island Moai dressed as ‘Hank’ – the typical snap-happy American tourist. Complete with headphones, sun hat, cameras, map, walking pole and water bottle! Standing over 5 feet tall. Age and origins are unknown.

Edwardian Oak Filing Cabinet.

Good looking Edwardian oak filing cabinet c.1910. Four large file drawers with sliding dividers plus, ususally, a small docket drawer in the top. Excellent quality, panelled and polished on all sides with original brass handles and label holders (one replacement to the bottom drawer). Very good condition.

Camphorwood Campaign Chest.

Fine example of the classic late 19th.c. brass bound campaign chest c.1880. In fragrant and pest resistant camphorwood, designed to protect contents during passage. Good large size, lovely untouched colour and excellent condition with original brass corners and handles. Key supplied.
