William IV mahogany drop centre combination wardrobe and press c.1835. Splendid large chest of five long drawers of graduated depth flanked on each side with tall single door cabinets, fitted with shelves in the left and a hanging rail in the right. Joined with a raised board above the chest of drawers to stop things from slipping down the back. Striking design with sloping caddy tops to the two side cabinets and raised on very unusual turned, tapering and fluted feet to the front and rear. Exceptional flame mahogany veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the tops, doors and drawer fronts. Original turned mahogany knobs and original locks. With mahogany groundwork to the doors, solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
