Welsh Longcase Clock by Robert Jones of Ruthin c.1810.

Early 19th.c. Welsh oak longcase clock with an eight day works by Robert Jones of Ruthin c.1810. Pretty painted face by the well know dial makers Wilson of Birmingham decorated with flowers and strawberries. With a separate seconds dial and date display and original pierced steel fingers. Hood featuring a broken swan neck pediment and turned columns with brass bases, case with a long door flanked on each side with quarter columns, ogee mouldings and a shaped base panel (a repeat of the door). Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. The works have also been cleaned and overhauled and are sold with a 12 month guarantee. Original weights and pendulum. Winder and key supplied.
