Small Giltwood Screen c.1930.

Delightful little three fold giltwood draft screen c.1930. Raised centre panel with carved floral decoration over a glazed oval panel fitted with an 18th.c style colour illustration of figures in a garden (could be easily replaced with a mirror if preferred). Rounded tops to the side panels, also carved and with unusual bevelled glazing. All three panels are unpholstered in a patterned yellow silk and have a repeated fluted detail to the bottom of the frame. Pleated panels on the rear. Original brass bi-fold hinges allowing the screen to be configured as preferred. Some marks to the silk, most obvious at the rear, otherwise very good condition retaining the original gilding.
