Small Alabaster Hanging Light c.1910.

Fine quality little Edwardian alabaster hanging light fitting c.1910. Single bulb inside a 14″ diameter grey veined alabaster bowl. Held in an exceptional brass frame with three turned candle sconces arranged around a pierced gallery with flower head mounts. Three supports rising to a central column with crenellated hexagon, acanthus leaf and pierced sections hung from a brass chain (which could be shortened if preferred) and the original ceiling hook. Excellent condition, cleaned and rewired and ready to hang.
