Pair of Oak Hall Chairs with Heraldic Carvings c.1860.

Interesting pair of mid 19th.c oak hall chairs c.1860. In solid oak throughout with beautifully carved and shaped backrests featuring an heraldic motif of coronet with arm embowed, in armour clutching a spear. Surrounded by acanthus leaves with egg and dart moulding at the top. Over a shaped seat with round centre panel, raised on turned front legs. Repairs to the seats otherwise excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
