Quality pair of mid 19th.c. oak hall chairs c.1850. In pale solid oak throught, attractively carved and pierced backrests shaped as a Classical shield cartouch with lovely scroll detail to the tops and sides. Over board seats with shaped edges. Raised on octagonal baluster front legs and swept sabre legs to the rear. Solid oak throughout. Good original condition, presented as found.
