Pair of Brass Lanterns c.1890.

Unusual pair of late 19th.c. brass lanterns, originally of ecclesiastical use, would make a lovely garden or patio lighting. Brass lanterns with a tapering glass sleeve to protect the candle from the wind and a pierced top with a cross. On a brass gimbal to keep the lantern horizontal, fitted onto long wooden poles with original paintwork.
