Mid 19th.c. rosewood centre table c.1860. Oval top with particularly well-figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on mahogany groundwork. With a gracefully shaped and crossbanded edge and a moulded apron with carved acanthus leaf detail. Raised on exceptional solid rosewood pedestal supports and shaped legs with floral detail and scroll feet on white pot castors. Note the lack of a stretcher between the legs meaning it can be sat at for use as a writing table . Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
