Mahogany Combination Wardrobe by James Winter & Sons c.1890.

Superb quality late 19th.c. mahogany combination wardrobe and linen press by the London cabinet makers James Winter & Sons of Soho c.1890. Long left hand door fitted inside with a rail for hanging, beside a two door cupboard with three sliding shelves for linen etc and a chest of two short and three long drawers of graduated depth. Crisp moulded cornice over highly figured door and drawer fronts with simple Arts & Crafts influence reeded detail and original brass handles. Moulded plinth, solid mahogany sides and drawer linings. Maker’s stamp to the top of one of the smaller drawer fronts. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Original locks and latches, keys supplied.
Splits into three sections plus cornice and plinth for ease of delivery.
