Large Regency Rosewood Breakfast Table c.1830.

Superb early 19th.c. Regency era rosewood breakfast dining table c.1830. Circular 55″ diameter top, a little larger than most we see, big enough to comfortably seat six. With highly figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern laid onto solid mahogany groundwork. Convex crossbanded edge and a slim apron below. Raised on a fine solid rosewood turned column pedestal with shaped and segmented lower portion with unusual little turned roundels and a segmented carved collar. Elegant slim moulded tricorn base on turned feet with original brass castors below. Excellent condition.
