Kitchen Dresser Plate Rack c.1820.

Exceptional early 19th.c. oak dresser rack c.1820. Ideal as a kitchen plate rack or for storing glassware, cooking ingredients etc. Three shelves of graduated depth (4½”/4″/3½”) with raised front lip, flanked with long cupboards to each side fitted with shelves inside (depth 6″) plus niches above and small spice drawers below. Moulded cornice over an unusual carved frieze with repeated Gothic arches. Trefoil arches above the cupboards with raised mouldings. Mahogany crossbanded door fronts and mahogany drawer fronts, both with ebony strung edges. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
