Early 19th.c. Rosewood Writing Table c.1830

Very handsome early 19th.c. rosewood writing table c.1830. Large desktop with beautifully figured and symmetrically arranged rosewood veneers, rounded corners and a crossbanded edge. Rosewood veneered apron with two cedar lined drawers hidden in the front, the rear being shaped to match. Lovely turned column legs with carved detail and joined with a turned stretcher set up high so as not to get in the way of your feet when sat at the desk. All raised on splendid carved claw feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
