Early 19th.c. Oak Welsh Cottage Dresser c.1820

Early 19th.c. oak Welsh cottage dresser  c.1820. Of the style produced on the Isle of Anglesey here in North Wales, with an unusually low rack with a moulded cornice over open shelves and two small glazed cupboards. Base with three drawers over two cupboards and a central bank of three drawers. Good decorative front with shaped droppers and reeded sides to the rack. The breakfronted base with a mahogany moulding and scallop shaped detail around the top, turned columns, inlaid parquetry detail to the corner of the door panels and ebony escutcheons. Original turned knobs and shaped bracket feet. The rack has vintage white paint work as found, which could be changed. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
