Dutch Walnut Display Cabinet c.1820.

Beautiful early 19th.c. Dutch bombé front cabinet c.1820. Display cabinet top with glazed doors and sides fitted inside with two shaped shelves (depth 11″). Over a base with three drawers of graduated depth with fabulous curved drawer fronts retaining the original brass handles. Exceptionally well figured walnut curl veneers across the piece. Elaborately shaped cornice with oak moulding and a large carved corbel at the centre. Arch top glazing with moulded glazing bars. Base with ogee waist moulding, deep shaped front corners and flat sides. Shaped apron below the drawers raised on carved ball and claw feet. Oak drawer linings, shelves and back boards. Old damage to the veneers on the sides of the base, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Separates into two pieces for delivery.
