19th.c. Regency Rosewood Breakfast Dining Table c.1820

Early 19th.c. Regency era rosewood breakfast dining table c.1820. Circular 50″ diameter top with beautifully figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. With a crossbanded edge and slim apron. Raised on a fine tapering column pedestal, with bold papyrus leaf carving and a turned base. On a tripod plinth, also in rosewood, with papyrus leaf carved feet and brass castors. Seats six people. The top can be tipped to vertical when not in use. Good rich colour and excellent condition, with the original catch. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
