19th.c. Inlaid Octagonal Table c.1890.

Stunning 19th.c. exhibition quality inlaid table c.1890. Octagonal top featuring intricate floral inlays, with crossbanding and stringing, in ebonised mahogany, boxwood, and walnut. Shaped apron below a crisp thumb mouded edge, with a set of four turned and reeded column legs with carved acanthus leaf details. A stretcher in the form of a crossed gallery with a turned finial sits above four scroll feet, each with more carved acanthus detail. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops and bearing a movers badge from Paul Fuß (Fuss) & Co Möbeltransport, placing it in or around Berlin circa 1935.
